I liked this idea enough to use it when I decided to have a rare "proper shot" at oekaki. I screwed up soooo much, but learned a fair bit! I'm proud of how well I matched the original game's colours just by eyeballing them, haha.
The picture found its way to AdamAtomic's Twitter account and ended up being used on a BoingBoing article [link] and on indiegames.com. I'm insanely flattered and grateful that people liked my picture despite its flaws, but coming home almost dead from work, flopping onto my computer, going 'oh an article about Canabalt how rad', and clicking on the link to see my picture at the top of the website startled the everfoving luck out of me let me tell you ahahaha.
I liked Brandon Boyer's title for his article so I used it for this submission, hopefully that's ok. :<
I thought about fixing the foot, but I can't dwell on one picture so much, gotta keep on moving. Through office windows at high velocity, I bet.
The pixelation was partially intentional, but not entirely and I was having a lot of trouble with the oekaki, so I understand your comment. Thanks for the love!

And don't worry too much about the foot. Drawing them at that angle is tough, and you did a fine job.
